Well a lot has happened since the last time anyone posted so here is a few updates.  Angie had another baby girl on 6-13-12 her name is Savhanna Jolene Baldwin. She was 5lb 11oz and 20.1" long.  She is healthy and doing great.

Samantha was tested for the Chandler CATS program and was accepted so next year she will go to a gifted Academy instead of the Traditional Academy she was going to.  

Shyla did great in 8th grade and is looking forward to High School and will get to go to the School of her choice.  She is preparing for a week at Girls Camp and is excited to spend the time with her friends from church.

Angie besides having a baby was promoted to a Zone Manager at her store and is doing well

Casey moved from Casa Grande to Mesa then to Apache Junction and is loving his position.

We sold our house and got are leasing a bigger house for the time being and saving for a new house in the future.

All in all we are doing good and have been blessed with many changes and new opportunities in our life.  We are great full to have the gospel in our lives and look forward to another good year.

Sammie's Baptism

Well today was Sammie’s Baptism. We had a great group of close friends and family there to support her. It was a very special day. We got up early and got all showered and then I got to bread Sammie’s hair and got everything ready to go. Well by the time we go to the stake center we where about 7 min late so we hurried and got everyone in and got Casey and Sammie changed into the white jump suits then it was time to start. Bishop Atkin gave a welcome and then we sang "When I am Baptized" then I said the opening prayer. Followed by a great talk on Baptism Given by Grandpa Joe (this was his first talk ever and he did an outstanding job) then it was time for the Baptism Casey got in the water first and helped Sammie get into the water. They looked so cute and holy he raised his hand and baptized her. We are very thankful to Brendon Gibb and Patrick Fisk for coming to be our witnesses.

Then Shyla gave a talk that she wrote all by herself on the holly ghost. I was a great talk and she did a wonderful job. Then it was time for Sammie to get confirmed a member of the church and receive the holly ghost. We are thankful to Bishop Atkin

This was so sweet and special she was given a blessing with it that was so touching about how the choice she is making will be an example to those around her and talked about the family and children she would have in the future and counseled her to stay close to her parents both the ones on earth and her heavenly parents it also talked about how proud heavenly father is with her and how much she is loved by him and his son.
She was so touched after she shook everyone's hand she went and hugged everyone there

It was very touching Shyla started to cry during it because the spirit was so strong. Then we sang a closing prayer I am a child of god with a closing prayer offer by sister Atkin. We the had time to take some pictures then we had Sammie change from her all whit dress back to her purple and white dress then with it only being 10 am we decided to take everyone out to breakfast where we had a great time Aunt Billy, Grandma Bev, Grandpa Joe, Alex, Casey, Shyla, Sammie, And me. Wow how time flys by it was just the last day of school and now we have been back in school for almost a month. So summer was as it always it here HOT!!! so we kept are self's busy with swimming lessons swimming at grandma and grandpas house summer movie fun passes and the day to day busyness work chores etc. The girls are glad to be back in school except for the homework part. They have great teachers this year Shyla has miss Owlsey for home room and then the rest of the six grade team for her specials like math, science, reading, etc.. Sammie has miss Dewitt and is loving it. Casey just got a promotion at work to the new title of zone manager with came with a $2.50 pay raise witch will be nice. I am up to doing the same as always serving the young women, working full time and raising two beautifully daughters witch is keeping me very busy.( that's why i don't get to up date very often.) well here is the good stuff pictures

Well today was the last day of school for the girls. It's a short summer they have to go back to school July 27th this. I'm sure by then they will be bored out of there minds and want to go back ( they always do) Well we have swimming lessons starting next week and summer movie fun that started last week so we will keep cool and have a good time doing it

Well We went camping over the weekend just outside of Payson AZ. we found a spot that had a little creek right next to it. We got there late Saturday and returned late Monday(yes the girls missed a day of school for this) We had a great time just spending time together as a family.

Wow where has this year gone I have so many things that have gone on but i have not been able to get to the computer

!st Shyla broke her arm when she was walking the dog and had a beautiful blue with gold sparkle canst the whole spring break this was a fun break that took many trips to a specialist to make sure it healed right and that all was good she is very glad to have the smelly cast off now that it is getting warm and we can go swimming.

Love what is love? as i try to look at things through the eyes of people around me i realize how much of the time we miss interpret what is relay is happening. This is my goal for this month moving forward.

Well this last month it seams that the days just flew away from us. we live such a routine life sometimes that we need to take time to smell the roses

Happy New Year!!

Well its 2009 and I hope all is well for you we had fun last night the street behind are house through a huge block party with very loud music and people drag racing motorcycles very loud tell the early morning hours which was lots of fun because I had to be to work early. We went over to Casey's parents house and hung out I came home a min after midnight because I am filling under the weather and also had to get up early some of are family's new year resolutions are to get the remodel finished to eat healthy and get more exercise and to appreciate the little things we also are working on are relationship with Christ.

Merry christmas and a Happy New Year

Well its hard to think that it is the end of the year already. Time just fly's by with out even noticing it weeks if not even months have gone by. Well we had a great Christmas here in sunny but cold chandler AZ. Everyone was so spoiled this year. On Christmas eve while i was working Casey has worked out with my boss and everyone at work to keep me at work all day even though i was suppose to get off at 10 am because it was my day off and i was just helping out. I was getting ready to leave when my boss came over and told me that the needed me to stay and that if i went home I would be coached, so of course i stayed but i was not happy about it not happy at all i didn't even go to are soft lines lunch potluck because i was so mad. At 4:30 i finally told them i had to leave and i didn't care because i had been there sense 6 am. As i was picking up the last few items i needed for Christmas Casey called and told me not to come home to go grocery shopping before the stores closed so not wanting to stay at walmart i went to Fry's and was there for ever because everyone was shopping before the stores closed so i finally got home around 6:30 pm. Casey came out and told me my Christmas present was delivered early and to go take a look. He had bought and installed an brand new stainless steel dishwasher for me for Christmas. he then told me that everyone at work was in on it and he had asked for there help keeping me there so he could get it all installed,

Our trip to Utah

Well we are back from are world wind vacation to Utah. We left late Monday the 27th of Oct. and drove all night long getting to Nicole’s house around 11:30 Utah time. we then unloaded the truck and got ready to go visit everybody but had to get some food first so while we are we drove around the town (which was all torn up) to see some of the changes that had taken place. We then went by moms house and on to Jennye's where the kids where just getting there Shyla and Sammie where so excited t see there cousins. We hung out at Jennye's house and had pizza while the kids all played then we went back to Cole’s house. We blew up are air mattresses and then Cole got home from work and pulled out her queen air mattress out for us to use. Poor Cole are bed filled her whole living room. We had two twin mattresses and one queen all in a row she couldn't even get out the door because of are big bed. The next day after getting up and getting ready we went for a drive to see the fall colors. We drove all over Orem, PG, AF, and Alpine. I took some great pictures witch I am very proud of. (this is one of them)We then to Wal-mart (are favorite place in the whole world). After buying a camo shirt and some hand wormers to show the kids we met up with everyone (Phyllis, Stacie, Jennye & Josh, Robert, Cole & Madelyn, and the four of us) for lunch at the olive garden. After stopping by target we went back to Jennye's for all the kids to play together. We where even able to get Devin for a couple of hours so all the cousins where there. During this time we decided to carve pumpkins for Halloween with all the kids. They all did a great job. When they were done I went to the party store with Robert and Shyla while Casey and Sammie stayed and played. Shyla, Cole, Robert, and I then went to the haunted forest and the psycho manner. It was a lot of fun this was Shyla's first haunted house (other then the one we do every year and the other little ones around that are @ neighbor’s house. She didn’t get very scared but Cole did. After leaving there we went by Stacie’s house to pick something up and talked for a little while then we went and picked Madelyn up and went back to Jennye's to get Casey and Sammie. Thursday morning mom and dad came over to Cole’s house to give the kids the Halloween treat bags because we were not going to be there for Halloween. We kind of invited ourselves to breakfast with them at Ihop. They where nice to let us come along so we hurried and paced everything up and joined them there. We had a great time and they were so sweet they paid for all of us. After breakfast we stopped by Jennye’s to pick up left behind toys and to say good bye to her and Cole. We where then on the way to St. Gorge for Blaine's bachelor party. After a long drive we finely got to grammas house in Washington (just outside of St. Gorge) by this time it was close to 6 pm and Casey was late to the party. I got to stay with grandma with the two girls that night alone while Casey was at his party. After I had gone to bet Casey’s Uncle Quinn had arrived and stayed the night he ended up sleeping in grammas room and her on the couch I felt so bad because I and the two girls had taken up both rooms. the next morning we visited with Quinn and grandma tell Casey got there and then after eating we went out o do some shopping we hit a lot of stores looking for a costume for Shyla and a wedding present for Blaine. After going to the rec. center we decided that it was dinner time now being 7 30 Ut. time and 630 are time. We decided to go to outback for a special treat for dinner. After dinner we decided to go back to grandmas because tomorrow was an early day. That night Shyla and Sammie decided to be little brats and Sammie cried as loud as she could for half the night forcing Shyla to sleep on the couch (I let Casey handle this one because I had done it the night before) The next morning I got up at about half past 7 and got a shower and started to get ready for the Blaine’s wedding knowing that we needed to leave by 10:15 -10:30 to make it to the chapel in St. gorge. After I was up and showered and almost ready I got Casey up (which took a wile) and had him start to get ready by this time I had the girls up and eating breakfast after that I had the girls showered and helped them get ready. it was now 10:20 and we were on our way but I needed a couple of things like wedding wrapping paper so we made a short stop while I was grabbing the paper Casey gave Blaine a call to get exact directions and found out that the wedding was not it St. Gorge but in Parowan which was an hour away and there was no way we would make it for the ceremony. This was of curse very upsetting news being that this was the reason for our whole trip we decided to drive up there and be there for the luncheon and the reception. We got there just after the ceremony had ended and the luncheon was starting. we meat Sara for the first time and got to talk to Blaine and his family we also met his aunt and uncle Jodi and Norman Atkins which we discovered was bishop Atkin’s little brother. We stayed through the wedding reception the first dance the throwing of the bouquet and garter and the cutting of the cake witch they got each other good. We then headed back to grandma’s house to spend time with her. We watched a couple of westerns together and talked I then went to bed. The next morning I got up and stated to get thing together to head home grandma headed off to church and we got everything loaded I then ran the vacuumed for her changed the sheets on the beds and got everything cleaned up. Just as we were about to leave I noticed a huge sugar spill all over the countertops I asked Shyla if she did it and she said no. knowing that it was not there before I asked Sammie if she did it and told her she would get in a lot less trouble if she told the truth so she confessed and had to help clean it up we where now on our way home. We had talked about staying a night in los Vegas but had decided not to spend the money but I did talk Casey into driving down the strip and showing the girls and me seeing that I have never been to that part of Vegas. They thought that it was so cool and this was during the day I can’t weight tell I can take them sometime at night. we then drove on home getting home around 11 pm. having had not much time to work on their school work Casey convinced me to let the girls stay home Monday to work on it boy was that a chore for me. Are toothless wonder

On Aug 30Th Sammie lost her very first tooth. It was one on the bottom and then today Sep 16Th Sammie lost her second tooth. This one was her big front right side tooth she also has 3 more very loose. she looks so cute with her missing teeth.

What A Day !!!!!!

Wow, I hope never to have a day like today again. First of all my father in-law is in the hospital for hart problems and they can’t figure it out what’s going on. Second I went to work and when I came out my tire was flat. So Casey came and aired it up so I could get home. Don't know why it went flat. Third I was eating gobstoppers and broke my back Molar in half. Now I’m in lots of pain and have to get a full root canal and a crown done. Fourth I went to by shirts for picture day for the girls from the store and got a blow out on the freeway. When I went to change my tire I dint have the jack or tire iron to do it so Casey had to come to my aid again. I got the shirts then I came home and went to bed. I hope tomorrow is better.

Made it through the first week

Well we have made it through the first week of the girls back in school and me working like a mad man.

Shyla Loves her new teacher Mrs. McGhan she is loving school even though she had to miss a few days because the second day mom was called to pick her up because she had step throat. She is filling a lot better now

Sammie loves being a 1st grader and loves going to school. She also is getting over being sick but did not miss any school.

Angie is a live

I worked 50+ hours in the last week plus take care of 2 sick kids and everything else. So many of you did not get to see me this week as i have been very busy trying to adjust to this new schedule. hope this time management thing starts to work itself out.

Casey is a champ

he is working overnight an doing everything he can do to be the best employee.

he is also still doing the counter tops during the day and trying to catch some sleep whenever he can

Kids starting school & Angie starts her new job

Wow this has to be fullest week ever the kids are getting ready to start school Monday July 28th and I start my new job Thursday July 24th (tomorrow). We are trying to get so much done before these two days. We need to get all the school shopping done. We also need to get the house work all done. They girls have meet the teacher also tomorrow it is right after i get off my first day of work. They know who they have Shyla has Miss McGann and Sammie has Miss Garrison. Wow I need a plan of attack to get everything i need done.

My Three Greatest Blessings

As I sit here thinking about my life I cant help but count my blessings and i have two say i have three great ones that keep giving to me everyday. Two of them i have the privilege of being there mom and the other I get the privilege of have as a sole mate for the rest of eternity.

Casey

He is my first blessing. I love my husband! i don't think many know how much this man means to me in my life he not only is my husband he is my best friend and on many days he is my only friend. I would rather spend time with him--even if it means cruising the aisles at Home Depot or sitting at a dirty shop (or anywhere else)--than I would anything else. He cares for me and takes care of me. He is a hard worker and has abilities to do just about anything he wants to do. If he doesn't know something, he will figure it out. He is a genius at that.(and most everything elsse) He is there when i need someone to talk to no matter what it is about. He makes me fill special just by looking at me. and i know he loves me with all of his hart. (and not just for my boobs)

Shyla

My second blessing came into my life when i was just 18 and she has taught me so many things about myself and about unconditional love. I love this girl with every bit of me. She has grown up so fast and is blossoming into such a great young women. She has such a love for everything. She loves to gain new talents. She is always trying new things. She has an great love for life and wants to live it to its fullest. She has so many talents and she is great with kids. she has a love for music, math , swimming, pets (all kinds), and many many more. She is very loving and caring to all of gods creatures. She even fills bad if she kills a bug. She can make you fill better with one of he magic hugs. I Reilly do thank god for her. I think she was sent to me to show me everything life has to offer.

Sammie

My third blessing came to me at a time when life was handing me a lot of lemons but her sweetness turned them into great things. This little girl is such a Mommy's girl that it can drive me crazy some days but i would not change it for anything. She has a smile that can melt your hart and turn any day into a sunny day. She loves to spend time with mom, Play on the computer ( i think she knows more about it then i do most days). She is a very smart young lady and has been reading seance the middle of kindersteps she is going into first grade with a 2 grade 4 month reading level. She also loves anything fun and can tell you how to make it fun if it is not fun like skating on wet towels around the house to mop the floors. She is always there to Cheer me up or to entertain me. She always has a song to sing (or whistle). She is a joy to have around and i thank god he new i needed her,

I cant tell you how much these three people mean to me. They are my life they are my purpose for being. I don't know what i would ever do without these three people in my life! I hope I never have to find out.

OK I was told to put something about me and Casey on here so here go's.






I am the young Women's secretary in are ward and love this calling. It has kept me very busy with being the camp director this year and planning and holding great weekly mutual. I got the opportunity to go to camp this year for the whole week and loved it and became a lot closer to my girls . I am currently in between jobs and enjoying being able to spend the summer with Shyla and Sammie but this is changing soon i have two employment offers that i am debating on right now.



Casey

He is are newest ward missionary and he is great @ this calling. We have a neighbor that had not been to active at church for over 25+ years and he has encouraged him back to going every week and he has become like part of the family. He is still doing countertops but her has gotten a new love a fuel system that takes water and converts it to HHO (hydrogen hydrogen oxygen) and has increased his gas mileage from 11.7 to 19.8 mpg. He is very pumped about this thing. In his spear time he loves hanging out/playing with his girls. and they love there time together he is also rebuilding the mustang i recked last year putting everything from that car into a shell that we bought.

4th of July

Happy 4th

We had a great Independence day. We went swimming, had a family BBQ with Casey's side, watched fireworks, came home and made strawberry shortcakes and watched movies.

Sammie

This little girl has a love for life. She finds fun wherever she is. She is going into 1st grade this year. She cant Wait tell school starts but she keeps telling me that once it dose she will miss being home with mom. She is doing great in swimming lessons and has such a tan that you would think she was Mexican if you didn't know better. Sammie always has a song to share to make you smile or show you that she loves you. Shy also is a great whistler and dose it all day long. She stays very busy playing with her sister and her friends. She keeps asking when we get to go to Utah to see all her favorite cousins there. We truly do enjoy having her as part of are family.

Shyla

Wow is she getting big. Shyla is 10 and loves school she cant wait tell it starts again in 3 weeks. At the end of last year she had gotten the highest score on her benchmark testing in all of the 4th grade. She was also in her school performance of the sound of music She will be in 5th grade this school year. she is going to be continuing in mallet club, choir, math club, band, drama club, and running club. She loves to read and to do anything music or art related She has also started her own pet care business of watching pets for others while on vacation. She also has been doing Jr Lifeguard this summer. She has fallen in love with this and cant wait for the time when she can be a lifeguard.
